Trauma & EMDR Therapy
Navigating life with unresolved trauma is challenging.
Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to process past experiences and find relief from the lasting effects of trauma. I use evidence-based approaches such as talk therapy, EMDR therapy, somatic techniques, and parts work (IFS) to help clients heal from acute trauma, developmental trauma, and complex trauma. Together, we work to reduce symptoms, rebuild safety in your body, and support long-term emotional resilience.

What is EMDR Therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based, structured approach that helps you process and heal from trauma. Through guided eye movements or gentle forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity of painful or overwhelming memories, making them easier to integrate. It’s a powerful method for treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and distressing life experiences, helping you move forward with greater peace, clarity, and emotional balance.
While EMDR is different from traditional talk therapy, it can be woven into our work together to address trauma that may be difficult to process through conversation alone. Integrating EMDR into therapy can help release emotional blocks, calm the nervous system, and support faster, deeper healing.
EMDR Intensives
I also offer EMDR intensives, which are extended EMDR therapy sessions designed to help you make faster, deeper progress. Intensives allow you to process more trauma in a shorter period of time, making them ideal if you’re ready for accelerated healing or don’t have space in your schedule for weekly therapy.
An EMDR intensive provides a focused, condensed format for working through trauma, PTSD, emotional wounds, and long-standing patterns. The structure is personalized to your needs and may include preparation, active EMDR trauma processing, somatic regulation, and integration support.
A sample 3-day EMDR intensive may include:
Day 1: 2-hour intake and prep session
Day 2:
AM: 3-hour EMDR session
1 hour lunch break
PM: 3-hour EMDR session
Day 3: 2-hour reflection and integration session
